Beltra County Market ~ Ireland

DSC01657

Hello fellow Globetrotters!

On my third day of my WWOOFing time in Ireland we went to a local Market to sell a few of the produced products, such as salads, jams and other delicious things.
Although it wasn’t the kind of market I expected it was a really nice experience, as I got the opportunity to get to know a few Irish people and just in general talk to different persons to learn about their ambitions and stories.
The market wasn’t as you expect, you yourself selling the products, it was whether everyone putting there things up with only one register.

Also isn’t this such a nice idea?! This should be a thing at more places.

It was amazing to see all the different local products.
And you could find so many things there from homemade juices to handmade scarfs, from flowers to organic beauty products.

And another great feature about the Market is that apperently they do a workshop for everyone to join there every saturday.
I was lucky and the workshop from that day was about “Upcyling” with Chalk paint and maybe you remember from the “About Lenja” that I love every kind of crafting and never got a chance before to try out Chalk paint.
