Shades of Sunsets ~ Italy

Hello fellow Globetrotters!
We hope you are all doing good.
We are back now after our break, which we had to take as we were extremly busy at first and when we were away.
But now we are back with a fresh start.
In the summer of 2014, so already two years ago I (Lenja) went to Italy with two friends of mine.
Apart from it being not really the kind of vacation or traveling I would normally prefer it was still a nice week.
We spend most of our time on a big campsite directly at the shore of the famous Lake Garda.
One of the most explicit memories I have of the time are all those beautiful sunsets we got to witness.

Sunsets are proof that endings can also be beautiful too.”

I always feel like in our day to day live we rarely get to experience the beauty of a sunset. And we are the ones who can change that.
How many times have you told yourself that you are too busy?
That is all we seem to have on our mind lately.
But no matter how busy we are, we need breaks. Just that nowadays most of time we associate a break with watching TV, spending our “free time” staring at our phone or computer screens. There is nothing wrong with that (most of time) but sometimes we should just unplug from that world and do other things.
And what better way to spend a day when out in the fresh air, experiencing that there are still so many beautiful things going on around us.

Sometimes the only thing we need is to take a step back and let our mind rest.
Rest from all the thoughts that are constantly running through our head.
Isn’t it refreshing to see that while everything in your life seems to be going upside down, that there are still things that will always stay the same?!
No matter where you are in life, how old you are or which position you are in, there will always be a sunset.

“Sunset is a wonderful opportunity for us to appreciate all the great things the sun gives us!”
―Mehmet Murat Ildan
