Hello fellow Globetrotters!
We hope you had a few good festive days and could enjoy a break from all the busyness that is usually happening around us all.
And exactly that is one reason that draws us so close to taking vacations away from home.
Often even in our free time here is always that nagging feeling in the back of our minds telling us that we should actually be doing this and that and that there is no time for a time to settle down and rest for a bit.
But there always should be and if we work for it, there always is.
This is the third post about Langeoog, a German Island that I visted with my mother in January 2015.
The whole time during our trip the wheater really was quite wintery.
One morning we woke up with nothing in front of the window but miles and miles of fog.
Only distantly you could make out the outlines of the dunes and everything else on the island.
For sure we couldn’t wait longer and went out to see the island in a totally different light.
On the beach itself it also was a whole over feeling. You could only guess that there were waves waiting for you at the end of the shore. You could only make out the sounds of the ocean.
Let me know if you enjoyed this post.
Maybe you would like to check out the other two posts about Langeoog: Wintery Walk & Icy World .
See you soon at our next destination!
