Hello fellow Globetrotters!
How are you all doing?
For us, school started again on Monday and already we have quite a lot to do, studying, projects, homework and all that stuff, so we will have to see how long we will be able to stick to our upload scheme.
These pictures were taken on the same day as the pictures in the last post about the German island Langeoog.
After we arrived at our apartment soaking wet, we got changed and spent the evening comfortable inside. For the most time reading, which is one of the favorite things about a get-away for me, there is nothing distracting you from reading a got book or writing.
As well still had the bikes, we had rented in the morning, we decided to use the chance and drive out to the highest dune, which we had already walked to a few days ago along the beach.
But this time we didn’t need to worry about getting lost in the dark as we were much faster with the bikes.
When we had arrived at the beach the sun had already mostly set, but it was still incredibly beautiful and again as in almost every post so far we were all alone.
We only saw one jogger in the distance and apart from that nobody.
I mean, I understand that it was really (freezing) cold outside and I definetely don’t want to complain about the fact that there were no people around, but still I wonder how few people explore. At least around evening and winter time.
At least I get to share it with you guys.
When and where was the last time you experienced one of those “alone in the world”-moments?
Hope you enjoyed this second to last part about Langeoog, for more: Wintery Walk , Icy World , Fog , Glimpse of Sun and Bike Ride .
Wish you have a good rest of the week!
See you soon at our next destination!
