Barcelona, Spain

Hello fellow Globetrotters!
How are you all keeping up so far?
Here in Germany it is really cold at the moment and the sun doesn’t really make that much of an appereance, so we looked at all the destinations we still have in store for you and picked out the warmest and sunniest one.
It just had to be the beautiful city Barcelona!

On my (Lenja) vacation in Spain last year (summer ’15) one day we decided to go to Barcelona, which was a few hours away from our apartment we had rented for our vacation in Spain.
We had to get up really really early  and drive there by bus, luckily the bus network was quite good and easy to understand, at least from what we experienced.
If you have been to spain or are even from there, what would you say?

It was really good we were so early,  because when we arrived there, it was still quite and not full of tourists.
I can only recommend to visit the city in the morning if you have the time to, so you can experience it without the mass of people everythere, as later on in the day it got really busy everywhere.
