Stranded goods & other things ~ Juist, Germany

Hello fellow Globetrotters!
There are times in life, where we feel like we don’t fit in and often we see that as a bad thing. We blame ourselves for the inability to see the things as others do, it always seems like we are the ones who are doing something wrong.
But why do we make ourselves feel so bad about something that can also be a really positive thing?
Sometimes in life we feel like we got stuck and while everyone else is moving on, we get stranded.
But we don’t need to, and we shouldn’t feel bad about this. We don’t have to have everything figuered out all the time.
Do you get what I am trying to point out?
There is beauty in getting stranded.

I could spent days just walking around and capturing all these small details and in some way there is beauty hidden in all these little things.
The old toilet brush is actually one my favorite findings on that day.
I always wonder, from where all these things might be coming from and how they ended up in the water.
Who lost their shoe?

In the first blog post in this series about the German island Juist, I shared pictures with you from a regular stroll along the beach, which must have been one of my favorite memories from the days there.
If you have any question for us, feel free to let us know.

See you soon at our next destination!
