Hello fellow Globetrotters!
“There’s a sunrise and a sunset every single day, and they’re absolutely free. Don’t miss so many of them.”
― Jo Walton
I have always loved the idea of getting to experience something that is unique, until I realized that almost everything can be seen as unique.
I am, you are, the sunset of today, sunset of tomorrow.
It is not always easy to take time off, to really enjoy the sun setting in all it’s glory. But once in a while we should give ourselves at least that much.
Especially in our busiest times it could be those ten minutes watching the sun set, that take our minds off all the stress.
We had been out eating in the “Strandhalle“, a restaurant and bar right at the promenade with a wonderful sea view from most of the tables ( + really delicious!).
The day had atually been really clouded, so it came much to a suprise to get to see such a sunset on that day.
Although the wind was really cold, I decided to walk back to where we were staying along the sea.
It was starting to get a bit darker and at times I could see no one, I felt like I was all alone out there with all those beautiful colours.
On the maybe twenty minute walk I only crossed path with one other person, we didn’t exchange a word but the look we gave each other was full of joy.
Moments like these will always be my favorite memories.
I would really like to hear about your sunset memories.
