Cliffs of Moher I ~ Ireland

Hello fellow Globetrotters!

After our host was finished with her yoga lesson in Ennis, we drove up to the Cliffs of Moher and she dropped us of take a walk along the cliffs.
The Cliffs of Moher definitely are a big highlight of my time in Ireland.

The Cliffs of Moher are a famous sight,  located at the edge of the Burren region in County Clare.
They rise 120 metres above the Atlantic Ocean at Hag’s Head, and reach their maximum height of 214 meters just north of O’Brien’s Tower.

The cliffs rank amongst the most visited tourist sites in Ireland, and I think anyone can understand that.

I hadn’t heard about these cliffs before and was beyond blown away by the view.

If you are still unsure about whether it is worth to visit this touristy area, watch out for the next three blogposts and see for yourself. DSC03108

See you soon at our next destination!
