I spent three and a half months in Ireland towards the end of last year and spent the majority of my time WWOOFing, which means living and working on a Farm.
My second Farm, where I stayed around two weeks was located in the county of Clare not too far away from the Cliffs of Moher.
Even closer were the Cliffs of Kilkee, which are by far less known but very spectacular and I might have even preferred them as you are much closer to the ocean.
When we stepped out of the car, we were greeted by rain which was quickly replaced by sun again.
Although it was not a particular windy day, the ocean was quiet wild and the waves kept on splashing across the shore.
There are walks on each side of Kilkee that loop around the Cliffs. As we didn’t have too much time before the sun would set and we wanted to go the other side as well we only took a short walk but I definitely want to come back one day to see everything.
To be continued …
